Actress Diane Lane and actor Josh Brolin have officially ended their marriage, concluding their divorce case the day before Thanksgiving. The court’s approval of their stipulated judgment this past Nov. 27 is the final part of the process. They had been married for eight and a half years.
Brolin, son of actor James Brolin and stepson of Barbra Streisand, has spent a substantial amount of time in Louisiana in the past. Much of that time was spent recreationally, enjoying the nightlife that Shreveport, Louisiana, has to offer. On at least one occasion, his time in the state led to trouble, when he was accused of getting violent in a bar. He was arrested and later plead out the charges.
Diane Lane’s career has experienced a renaissance in recent years, and she has been cast as Martha Kent in the upcoming Superman vs. Batman film. The movie is set to capitalize on the recent success of Man of Steel, in which Lane played the same role. It is set for release in 2015.
Brolin and Lane have both characterized the split as amicable, indicating that they’re simply happy to have it resolved. Brolin was previously married to Alice Adair, and Lane was formerly married to Highlander star, Christopher Lambert.
